| | | | 24/05/2018 | Drapers, Tim Clark - Next to introduce charge for courier returns | | | | | Next announces changes to returns policy | | | | | Drapers reports that Next has announced changes to its returns policy, under which customers will be charged £1 each time a courier is ordered to collect items.
The changes, which will come into force on 6 June, will lead to customers being charged fees to their Nextpay account for the returns service, or the cost of the return taken off the total refund for any items purchased. Customers can continue to return items to stores free of charge.
At present Next imposes a £3.99 collection charge, which is then taken off the price of the item that is returned, and refunded once the return is completed. |
