	Furniture and homeware sales jump

	Retail Week has reported sales across Debenhams’ homeware and furniture sale are blossoming, as shoppers spend more on their home due to the wet weather and less on holidays. Debenhams furniture ranges improved 55% in the last six months compared to the same period last year, said the Daily Mail. The department store chain increased homewares and furniture ranges by more than two thirds since last year to 1,700 products. A marketing campaign will launch this weekend designed to push expanded lines.
