Two bidders left in Dreams acquisition race

Retail Week reports that Dreams founder Mike Clare and ScS Upholstery are vying to acquire the troubled beds retailer after Sir Philip Green pulled out of the race.
It is believed that Clare is attempting to buy the business back for a fraction of the £200m he sold it for in 2008, The Sunday Times reported.
It is understood that ScS owner Sun Capital intends to close a swathe of Dreams stores if it gains control of the business.
Green had been interested in the beds specialist to link up with his BHS business but is understood to have withdrawn his interest.
Final bids for Dreams are due on Friday.
