| Debenhams began life on Christmas Day in 1813, when William Debenham bought a share of a draper’s store on Wigmore Street in London and eventually renamed it Clarke & Debenham, reported Telegraph.
The retailer hosted a party last week to celebrate the milestone, with pop band McFly performing.
The new Limited Edition Collection includes a gold sequin dress from Julien Macdonald, the Welsh designer who held a catwalk show at London Fashion Week earlier this month, a coat from Lancashire-born designer Betty Jackson, and a range of new homeware products created by designers such as Matthew Williamson.
In total, the new collection includes four coats, four evening dresses, decorative plates, handbags and purses.
