St Pancras reports solid festive trading

 
 Retail Gazette reports that St Pancras International has recorded solid results across a wide range of categories for retailers during the festive trading period, and posted a 6% rise in like-for-like sales for the four weeks to 4 January.

Strong performing categories were:
-Pubs and restaurants: up 11% on a like-for-like basis
-Fashion: up 3% on a like-for-like basis
-Non-Fashion: up 6.8% on a like-for-like basis
-Coffee shops: up 7% on a like-for-like basis
-Retail convenience: up 2.5% on a like-for-like basis

Stand out retailers included Sourced Market, which recorded a 22% rise in like-for-like sales, and the Searcy’s champagne bar, which saw sales rise 26% in the week to 21st December.
