The figures are a 10% increase on last year, according to Experian and IMRG. A rise in mobile shopping is said to have boosted sales.
During the four-day period from Black Friday to Cyber Monday last week, shoppers spent a record-breaking £3.3bn, with £672,000 spent every minute on the Monday. |
